Shipping & returns

Shipping

Service Where Cost
Standard: tracked and insured Europe Free, on every order
Express: priority handling, tracked and insured Europe Shown at checkout

Every order is tracked and insured against loss in transit, including the free service. You receive the tracking number by email as soon as the parcel leaves us. There is no minimum order value for free standard shipping.

Dispatch and delivery

  • Orders placed before 14:00 CET on a working day are prepared the same day.
  • Dispatch takes 1 to 2 working days.
  • The delivery estimate for your country is shown at checkout, before you pay.

Duties and taxes

Prices are shown in euro and include applicable VAT for European destinations. There is nothing further to pay on delivery.

Returns: 30 days

You have 30 days from delivery to send a piece back. That is more than the 14 days European law requires, because two weeks is not long enough to know whether you actually wear something.

  • Unworn, unwashed, tags still attached.
  • In its original packaging where possible.
  • Email contact@bramhurst.com first and we will send the return instructions.

The refund goes back to the original payment method once the piece reaches us and has been checked. Socks can only be returned unopened, for hygiene reasons.

Exchanges

The fastest route is to return the piece for a refund and place a new order for the size or colour you want, so you are not waiting on two parcels in sequence.

Something arrived damaged or wrong

Email contact@bramhurst.com with your order number and a photograph within 14 days of delivery. We sort it out at our cost. You never pay return postage on our mistake.

The full legal terms are in our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, which take precedence over this summary.

Garment care

Fine natural fibres last for years when they are treated gently and for one season when they are not. None of this takes long.

Folded cashmere and merino knitwear

Cashmere and merino knitwear

  • Wash rarely. Wool is naturally odour-resistant. Airing a jumper overnight is usually enough; wash only when it is genuinely soiled.
  • Hand wash cold in a wool detergent, or use a machine wool cycle at 30 °C with the spin below 600 rpm. Never use fabric softener. It coats the fibre and kills the loft.
  • Never wring. Press the water out, roll in a towel, then dry flat and away from radiators and direct sun.
  • Store folded, never on a hanger. A hanger stretches the shoulders permanently.
  • Pilling is normal on natural fibre and is not a fault. Remove it with a cashmere comb or a fabric shaver. The garment gets smoother with each pass, not worse.

Suede loafer with a suede brush and eraser

Suede

  • Protect before first wear with a suede protector spray, and repeat every few months.
  • Brush after wearing with a suede brush, always in one direction, to lift the nap back up.
  • Let mud dry completely, then brush it off. Never wash suede with water.
  • Shiny patches can be raised again with a suede eraser or a crepe brush.
  • Dry naturally if caught in rain, away from any heat source, with shoe trees or paper inside to hold the shape.

Leather shoes with cedar shoe trees, cream and brush

Leather shoes and belts

  • Rest them. Do not wear the same pair two days running. Leather needs a day to dry out and recover.
  • Use cedar shoe trees straight after wearing. They absorb moisture and hold the shape, and they are the single best thing you can do for a shoe.
  • Condition every few months with a cream matched to the colour, then buff.
  • Roll belts rather than folding them.

Linen and cotton

  • Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, with similar colours.
  • Line dry where possible. Tumble drying shortens the life of the fibre.
  • Iron linen while still slightly damp, on the reverse.

Watches

  • Keep the leather strap away from water. If it gets wet, dry it naturally and never with heat.
  • Remove the watch before showering, swimming or applying fragrance.
  • A leather strap is a wearing part. Expect to replace it every one to two years with daily use.

Knitwear stack

The cloth

Chosen for how it wears

Wool that breathes, cashmere with enough weight to hold its shape, leather that softens rather than scuffs. We choose the cloth first and cut around it, which is why the fit stays honest long after the first wash.

Built to outlast the season

A small range, chosen because these are the pieces a man actually reaches for. No seasonal noise, no logo on the outside, no permanent sale.

Each piece is cut to be worn for a decade rather than a season, and priced as though that were normal.

Everything else

Every Bramhurst piece is chosen for the cloth first. Knitwear is fine-gauge and cut for drape rather than bulk; leather is soft-tanned so it breaks in instead of scuffing.

The composition of each piece is listed under Description above. If anything is unclear, write to us before you order and we will tell you straight.

Our pieces are cut to a European fit: close to the body without being tight. If you are between sizes, size up for knitwear and outerwear, and stay true to size for shoes.

Full body and footwear measurement tables open in the Size guide, just under the size buttons. Still unsure? Tell us your usual size in a brand you already own and we will tell you which of ours fits closest.

Wash knitwear rarely and cold, dry it flat, and store it folded rather than on a hanger. Brush the nap after wearing and protect it before first wear. Rest shoes a day between wears and use shoe trees.

The full routine, fibre by fibre, opens under Garment care above.
