Nothing here yet. The knitwear is where most people begin.
Our Story
Bramhurst exists because of a simple, slightly irritating observation: a cashmere jumper does not cost what a cashmere jumper costs.

Somewhere between the yarn and the shop floor, a large part of the price stops being about the garment. It becomes the store on the expensive street, the campaign, the name on the label. You pay for all of it, and you wear none of it.
What we do instead
We keep the range deliberately small. Around twenty pieces, chosen because they are the ones a man actually reaches for: the half-zip, the overcoat, the loafer, the belt that holds up for years. Nothing seasonal, nothing that needs explaining.
We sell directly, online only. There is no shop to pay for and no wholesaler taking a cut, and that difference goes into the price rather than into the margin.

How we choose a piece
Three questions, in this order.
- Will it still look right in five years? If the shape belongs to this season, it does not go in.
- Does the cloth earn its place? Weight, hand-feel and how it behaves after a few wears matter more to us than what the label claims.
- Would we pay this? If the answer is no, the price is wrong or the piece is wrong.

The quiet part
You will not find a logo on the outside of anything we make. That is not modesty, it is the whole point. Good clothing is recognised by the people who know what they are looking at, and ignored by everyone else. That is the correct outcome.
